Don't think they're that common outside the dealer. Look for something like a Bostik hot glue gun that uses the super glue sticks. It melts the glue and part of the plastic you're applying the glue to if you touch it with the gun. The glue mixes with the plastic and when it cools it becomes as hard as the plastic you're repairing. I've used it in many apps and it has always held. In some instances it becomes stronger than the material it repairs. Just make sure the materials you're repairing are completely clean and dry. Also make sure the cap is releasing any extra pressure properly, otherwise the pressure can crack the tank.
