Maybe You Can Figure This One Out!

I have been searching and reading this forum for sometime now and I cannot seem to find anything that works for me. I'll list the problems with this car and maybe you can help me. I just picked up a 1993 SC300 in my area for a good price.

Here is what I have replaced before the car even hit the road.

New Water Pump,

New coolant,

New Thermostat,

New Hoses,

New Timing belt,

New Belts,

New spark plugs,

New Cap and rotor,

New Plug Wires,

New fuel pump,

New fuel filter,

New air filter,

New PCV,

New Fan and clutch.

All installed by myself so I know it was done right. Ok the the first thing I noticed is that I coolant is bubbling in the overflow tank. Had it checked for coolant in the oil and exhaust nothing there. Had it checked for compression, all good there. Had the raditor flushed and filled. Swapped out the thermostat for another one so thats not the prob. No air in the system as its totally topped off with coolant. Still boils and its not overheating. No leaks. Any ideas????

Next problem is I have 0 heat and its starting to get cold here. I read about swapping the vac lines on the (i forgot the name) but I have not done this yet. This may help.

next problem, when the car has been running for sometime I can smell gas in the car at a stop light. I was told my cats are plugged. I dont know if this is true but has anyone been thru this?

I could really use the help.

:)

Let me save you some pain...or actualy add some pain.

My car did the same thing.Compression was fine,no coolant in the oil,and no sighns of blown head gasket. All it did was bubling in the overflow.Mine ended up being a head gasket failure.

Open the radiator cap and smell the coolant,if it smells like fuel, then you got a blown head.

If you are not sure, and have extra $50,go to napa and get a blown headgasket kit that goes in your radiator hole.
