Lowering The Is

So im looking to lower my 01 IS300 any ideas on how low to go and what brand of springs i should get? car has 17's still

A few hundred will get you about an inch drop, more than that would mean cutting springs,(which usually sucks.), or coilovers. What wheel size and offset were you planning on going with? or were you going to keep the stock rims on the car?

it has aftermarket rims but i kept them 17's so i didnt have to buy new tires haha

I prefer Tannabe Springs since they offer a few options in terms of drops and feel.
