Ramanan
Does Lexus offer a non-leather seating option. For example BMW offers leatherette, which looks like leather but is not made from any animal product. My dealer seems to think not. Do any of you know if I can get a new Lexus without leather seats. Thanks
TA in KC
I think regular fabric seats are still available on the IS, ES, and RX. The fabric is similar to the material used on the seats in Toyota vehicles.
jcrome04
But Lexus Leather is ssssssooooooooo nice B) Especially when they combine it with superior Coach leather :) :) :)
TA in KC
Yes, the leather is nice..and that Coach leather is even better! Fabric does wear much better though. And I am guessing the reason that the orginal poster doesn't want leather is because they don't like using products made from animals. blake918
From what I saw on the Lexus website, it shows that leather is optional on the 2009 ES and RX models. It didn't say if they come with vinyl or cloth (probably cloth because of the JDM). I'm sure that you would have to special order one without leather. I've always wished that Lexus offered a MB tex/vinyl upholstery option since it is soft enough for me and it lasts much, much longer than leather. jcrome04
I ABSOLUTELY HATE the vinyl smell of 90's MBZ's and BMW's. It reminds me of 60's and 70's American cars! :chairshot:
