cmk033
I have 93 LS400 and battery on the key I think has gotten weak. I may need to replace them. Does anyone have any tips on replacing the battery? If anyone has done it, where can I buy the batery? Can I get them from Walgreens? What is the battery number? Is it going to be difficult taking the battery out? Any information would be appreciated.
eatingupblacktop
The battery is a Lithium # CR1216 and you can get it at Radio Shack for about $8 or so. You'll need a tiny phillips screwdriver to take it apart. Battery just falls out. Easy Peasy PS: Make sure you keep the polarity orientation the same. killerFatty
I also had this problem with my 1993 Ls400 and the only hard part was finding a tiny screwdriver. Once you get the screw out gently pop/pry the cover off and remove the battery. 1216 is the battery you need and I got mine for 4$ and change at batteries plus. Extremly EASY. good luck. :D
