rwallican
My salesman says 2011. Says it'll be a total redesign! I'm thinking it'll favor a larger Highlander.
The G Man
The Highlander is a crossover, the GX will not be based on the Highlander.
rwallican
That Highlander sorta reminds me of the new Lx570 (a very condensed version of course). I'm thinking the shape may resemble that (wide and muscular looking). The current GX is tall and slim (if a SUV can be that). However they make it, I know it will be nice. I love that new LX. It looks 100 times better than the previous in my opinion.
denslexusgx470
Studying the trend of Lexus and Toyota, the GX is due for redesign for 2009. However there's no indications or hints of a redesign yet. Usually by this time of the year there should be info about the upcoming year's model. I learned about the GX 8 months before anyone knew that it was coming. :P
The G Man
Who knows whats going to happened to the re-design GX. The original plan was for the re-design 4runner was 2009 and a re-design GX a year after that. That plan have been push back one years in 2007. Now Toyota have just announce that they will stop large truck and SUV production for 3 months due to slow sales, after that, it will reduce large truck and SUV production by almost a half. If this trend continues, the re-design GX may be much further out than 2011.
