vyhanh Posted December 11, 2003 Posted December 11, 2003 Hi, We have 0 (degree F) windchill here. My son's 91 LS400 has problem closing the trunk at first attempt. With several pulls of the trunk release tab, I eventually close it. Same with door (using the lock/unlock switch). Any similar problem ? Any solution? Thanks VH
mejojo Posted December 11, 2003 Posted December 11, 2003 Oh, my god......32 degrees below freezing? Is that Siberia, Minnesota? I assume that this problem did not exist before the cold snap? Does a grease exist that won't freeze in that temperature? You need to find one and re-lube the latches, first cleaning off any old grease. What is the actual (non-windchill) temperature? Joe
vyhanh Posted December 11, 2003 Author Posted December 11, 2003 Yes, it is COLD. Non-windchill 8-10. In January/Feb, the non-windchill can get down to -5 !!! Thanks for the suggestion. I have to look real hard for a 'Siberian' grease.
