Bandit Posted December 5, 2003 Posted December 5, 2003 I am in the process of researching someone that can recover my 93 SC400 steering wheel. But I am thinking that instead of all leather, is there someone that can do a combination leather and wood like the more recent Lexus models.
alchemymike Posted December 6, 2003 Posted December 6, 2003 just got mine done at http://www.american-stitches.com/ half wood and half leather it is perfection. You have to send them your wheel and they took over 3 weeks to complete for $450.00

redsully Posted December 7, 2003 Posted December 7, 2003 I went on eBay and purchased a hardly-used steering wheel for $35.00 and paid $8.00 in S/H fees and installed it myself in just under two hours. Looks/feels/acts brand new!
AWJ Posted December 7, 2003 Posted December 7, 2003 I've heard good things about the american stitches wheels. A little too pricey though, but you get what you pay for.
alchemymike Posted December 7, 2003 Posted December 7, 2003 Dealer wanted $1000.00 for new leather steering wheel. now thats pricey
