blair GS400 Posted March 3, 2008 Share Posted March 3, 2008 Has anyone ever had to replace the shell on their key. My wife went to drive our GS400 and broke the shell and i dont know where to get a new one(besides the dealer). I see that you can buy them on ebay but they are uncut. So does that mean i have to go to the dealer and have it cut for who knows how much?? Is there anything else, or a cheap fix. the electronics are all still working. What can i do?? sakataj Posted March 20, 2008 Share Posted March 20, 2008 u have the remote shell or the regular shell on this key? i think sewell lexus sells just the shell and you can buy a shell on ebay for cheap........might have to but a shell with the uncut key and remove the uncut key! i dunno how the transponder works or if your car has one but i would assume that should be ok!
