  1. quote name='GS 430' date='08 September 2010 - 06:07 PM' timestamp='1283994443' post='418930'] Hey there all, I am new to this forum. I recently bought a 2002 GS 430. It has 148,000 KM's and has been meticulously maintained. It is 100% stock. I would like to know what would be the best sounding exhaust for it. I DON'T want it to be LOUD, I just want a respectable rumble. What are your opinions? Are there any DON'T DO's that I should be aware of? Thanks! I have a 98 GS400 that has an APEXI exhaust system in it and i have never heard another car sounds so good. It is quit at highway speeds but when you get on it, it has a mean growl. [
  2. Has anyone ever had to replace the shell on their key. My wife went to drive our GS400 and broke the shell and i dont know where to get a new one(besides the dealer). I see that you can buy them on ebay but they are uncut. So does that mean i have to go to the dealer and have it cut for who knows how much?? Is there anything else, or a cheap fix. the electronics are all still working. What can i do??
  3. I live in eastern washington and we get plenty of snow here, and i put the dunlop grasspic all around on my GS400 and it does better than i expected it would. The only problem i ever have is when the snow is too deep because the GS doesnt have much clearence.
  4. Just fixed this same problem on my 98 GS. It was a throttle position sensor that had gone out, had a shop here in town fix it for me. The sensor is a $300 part plus labor. They had to get the part from the dealer so they screw you for it.
