okay...so my parents bought me a 1992 SC300 today, and its BEAUTIFUL!

...however, there are a few things wrong with it that im rather concerned about.

first: the power mirrors dont respond AT ALL, along with the memory seat buttons... rather worried about that one, as ive checked almost every fuse, and they're fine.

2nd: i dont have any remotes for the keyless...can i just order one from ebay and program it to the car?

3rd: the CD changer wont play ANY cd..at all, just gives an ERR msg. is there any way to fix this?

and finally, my gauge needles are completely out, and so are some of the icons, but the gauges themselves light up fine... is there anyway to just replace the needles?

im sure these are common questions, but even with searching google, Club lexus, AND this forum, i cant seem to find answers! please help, or at least point me in the right direction.. =) thanks

First, the mirror ECU is bad, its under the steering column, very hard to find a used working one, and an extreme !Removed! to get to...so check that off of your list. The memory seats have to be programmed before they will work. Shut the door, turn the electric over in the car, adjust the seat, hold the MEM button and the '1' button in at the same time, you'll hear it beep. Make sure the car is in park and don't touch the brake when you do this. If you disconnect the battery, you'll have to do it again. You can try ebay for the remote, and hope that the remote system actually works on the car. Send you guage pack to www.lextech.com to replace the needles, it's around $250 or so. Do a search to figure out how to remove them, it's fairly simple. You should have been able to find this stuff using the search function, I did. Sounds like your problems are minor. Good Luck!

for the cd player

1. Hold the button down for a few secs then release to remove the cd holder. then close the cd player without the cd holder in it. Then press and hold the button again. This will remove any cd's that may be stuck in the cd player.

2. dont know if you already know this but Make sure all cds you put in are facing the right way

3. Get a new cd player
