Bluetooth And The Es330

Okay - so I am new to this site, a new Lexus owner and a new forum user! Oh, boy!!!

I just bought a 2006 ES330 this weekend and love it! I would like to know how easy/hard it would be to have Bluetooth installed so I can use my phone hands free.

is it possible?

Absolutely, look into hardwired Bluetooth car kits. Motorola makes one, Parrot makes some very nice ones. They install just like an old car phone set.

I just use an earpeice, its okay.

I just purchased the Parrot, unfortunately for my 2004 ES330 I have no idea what wires are what on the factory radio plug. Does anyone have any information on the 2004 ES330 radio wiring diagram?

I basically need to know the following:

What are the colors for the following items:

1. Front and rear speakers, both +/-

2. Radio Mute

I don't have the Lexmark radio, just the standard factory radio. Am I correct that on this radio there is NO external AMP. Meaning the wires coming out of the wiring harness are direct to the radio.

Attached is a wiring diagram for the standard single CD 2004 ES330 audio system. Parrot sells an inexpensive external speaker for their phone kits if you don't want to tap into the door speakers. You can also use a Nokia or similar speaker. Using an external speaker can simplify the install but plenty of people tap into a door speaker. IMO, using a piggyback fuse connector at the underdash fusebox is the easiest way to power a phone kit.

Question, Where is the AMP, The seems to be the place to tap in, as opposed to the radio? I saw a diagram that said it was in the panel to the right of the glove box, but don't remember seing anything when I had that panel open...

Any ideas?
