Sc 400 Starter Replacement

How hard is it to change the starter on my '96 SC400? Do I have to drop the tranny?

Remove the bottom plastic covers, locate the starter motor, grab the right size rachet and turn the two or three bolts to remove...

Its a little more complicated than that. You have to remove the intake manifold to gain access to the starter.

It's been a few years since I change a starter motor on one of these motors...Coming to think of it you are right...However you don't have to drop the engine out or anything of that nature..
