BKD of CYP

Please help. My son-in-law is stranded in my old 96 sc 400. His key can't unlock either door.

How hard is it to change the starter on my '96 SC400? Do I have to drop the tranny?

I know what you are going through. I bought a 96 SC400 and I am having a blast. Only 82K miles, it is pristine, except for the drivers seat, which is worn. It's nice to be able to give those other "fast" cars a run for their money.

That's good to know. Where is it's location? Would my 2000 GS300 have this?

I have been looking on the net for an extended warranty for my 96 SC400. My Lexus dealer wanted too much, so I figured I would go with an independent company. Anyone have a good warranty? Would love to hear about it. Thanks, BKD in Cypress, CA

B) I recently purchased a sandstone 96 SC400. I love this car. The only complaint I have is that my head touches the ceiling unless I lean the seat back somewhat. I am 5' 10" and shrinking ( LOL ). I also noticed the front of the driver's seat raises and lowers, but the back doesn't; whereas the passenger side does. I tried sitting in the passenger side, with the seat as low as possible, and still had no headroom. Is this a problem for anyone else out there, and does anyone have advice about restoring the seat rear up/down function? Thanks, BKD
