TnLex13 Posted September 28, 2007 Share Posted September 28, 2007 The sub is 2 ohms and I think that it gets about 40 watts or so from the amp. I replaced mine with a cerwin vega sub that’s 4 ohms with two voice coils. I have them running in parallel so I'm only putting a 2 ohm load on the amp and thus I am getting the full amount of power where others on this board used a 4 ohm sub and are getting half of the power.
