94 Ls400 Steering Wheel

my 94 ls400 has a steering wheel problem now when i put the key in it doesn't move but when i try to move it using the switch on the side it makes a grinding noise is there ne way to fix this i can't stand driving it with the wheel up so high

Try the Auto button on the side and use the up down right left arrow buttons to adjust for best. good luck!

It sounds like the servo motor gears are shot. There is a thread here on that subject. Please use the search function and read alot first. I would do it for you , But this is your forum also.
