I've had it now for a little over ayear with no problems. Today I was driving and all of a sudden I had no acceleration, the car was on but it would'nt go!!!! the check engine light came on and VSC and VSC off lights came on....It was very frightening!!!! Thank god I was able to pull over and turn the car off and on a couple of times and mess with the vsc button. I don't know what I did but within about 5 min. the acceleration resumed and I was able to drive home but the lights still remain on?????????????? What is this????????? If anyone can help me PLEASE RESPOND!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks, Ms.Diana

You can always bring it in to an independant shop and get it diagnosed or take it to a dealer. You have to get the codes pulled before you can do anything.

cardona6569 Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 Hello: You have a problem with an electrical system, since you were able to regain control of the car. I had a problem like that and it was the mass-airflow sensor. Try cleaning that up. Get the codes they will pinpoint exactly what the problem is. You can also go to the Lexus dealer have them diagnose and they take it for the actual work to an independent which would charge much less. CPR
