Get the codes pulled @ a Autozone or similar place for free. You can always bring it in to an independant shop and get it diagnosed or take it to a dealer. You have to get the codes pulled before you can do anything. Thanks a million....I will try that!!! No problem Let us know what the problem is and what steps were taken to fix it. Most definitely!!! Just don;t panic!! You search the forum for clue and next time you will know what to do. This is a common problem for lexus. Good luck! Dude....I'm a chick!!!!! I don't even know what or where to begin!!!!! Cars are like chinese to me!!!! If you know, please tell me what the problem could be...... This is NOT right!!! DUDE!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!! I just posted a bulletin for the same problem!!!!!!! It is sooooooo scary!!!!! I don't have clue what to do either if you've come to solution yet..... PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!!!! I have a 2000 gs400, and yes, the problem comes and goes...not cool when you have kids in the car!!!!! Very scary!!!!! Please let me know what you did to fix the problem.....

Ok, so I'm new to this....I own a 2000 gs400, and I purchased it from an auction. I've had it now for a little over ayear with no problems. Today I was driving and all of a sudden I had no acceleration, the car was on but it would'nt go!!!! the check engine light came on and VSC and VSC off lights came on....It was very frightening!!!! Thank god I was able to pull over and turn the car off and on a couple of times and mess with the vsc button. I don't know what I did but within about 5 min. the acceleration resumed and I was able to drive home but the lights still remain on?????????????? What is this????????? If anyone can help me PLEASE RESPOND!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks, Ms.Diana
