Someone told me i needed to replace the seals. Rear main, crank, 2 x cam seals, and valve cover gasket. I know im capable of replacing the valve cover gasket, im a good part swapper. I have no clue where the other ones are. How hard is it to replace them? what is involved? how long would it approx. take? Id like to do this on my own, i have swapped engines and transmissions before, what is a good price to be charged by a mechanic to do the job? if anyone can help please respond

How long will it take, depends on how fast you can work. It took me 4hrs to replace them all-9hrs on the books. Charge approximately $4-700 under the table. You may also want to replace the gasket around the transmission dip-stick; for some funny reason mine was leaking and didn't stop.

if you diy then it is basically the timing belt/water pump replacement. no water pump needed but you will need to remove the timing belt to remove the cam seals and the crank seal is under the crank pulley. not too difficult, just time consuming. you should be fine having swapped engines and trannys before.
