ALES300 Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Anybody would recommend replacements of these stock Michelins that are on my 2003 ES300? They are not good in rain or in upcoming snow. Any suggestions? Thanks!
steviej Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 Michelin Pilot Sport Exaltos A/S. Awesome traction in rain, good traction in snow, great on dry pavement, very very quiet and cost less than the Michelin Energy MXV4s. Now, Michelin has discontinued the Energy MXV4s (yoru stock tire) and replaced them with the Primacy MXV4 which is supposedly an improvement on a similar design. Time will tell, but they are pricey like the Energys were.' Also look at the Bridgestone Turanza LS-V and the Goodyear Responce Edge. Note: moved to Wheel and Tire forum. steviej
SW03ES Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 I'm very happy with the Bridgestone Turanza LS-Vs on mine
termin8or Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 I got 125,000 out of a set of Michelins. Very good tire
DavdFrey Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 I put the Goodyear Assurance TripleTred on my ES300 and have been very pleased!
Edric Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 The Top of the line Goodyear Assurance Tripletred and Comfort Tread are the way to go. 80k limited tread life warranty and superior ratings in terms of tractin, handling, quiet ride. I can vouch for these tires since I do work For Goodyear and have a set of these on 3 of my cars, One BMW, 2 Toyotas
