Jesus954 Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Hi i was wondering since there is soo many people that do this on their car like either painting the housing black or installing halo lights how secure is the after sealing of the headlights after its been open? my main concern is that since it aint gona be as tight as the factory seal than like wouldnt the rain chip the glue and find an opening and water might go in? how do other poeple cope with this?
bartkat Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 Use silicone seal and make sure you don't miss any spots.
smooth1 Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 The headlight housing isn't a sealed enclosure anyway. So you really don't have to worry about it to much. But you should still try and seal it all the way around. I did mine over 6 months ago. I live in steamy Florida, and thru the "rainy" season and no problems at all.
