Mike Bearden
I notice the clear bra kits on E-Bay for $25 or so and those that advertise as being 3M in the $100 to $150 range...does anyone have any experience with the cheaper ones as far as ease of application or durability? Are the 3M kits different?
SW03ES
You get what you pay for, and on top of that they have to be installed and thats a lot harder than it looks.

Are the 3M kits different? Typically there is a difference. 3M is thicker, has a warranty & better adhesive. I'd buy the 3M for the Lexus. mburnickas
I deal with 3M from time to time. Nice products and nice people...At least on airplanes.:)

I agree, I bought a set for $167 total for the hood, mirror and fender but we just wasted that money, it's very hard to install ... just give up at the end.... JPOA
This is not something you can do yourself. Find a professional installer is highly recogmended. Edited September 5, 2007 by SW03ES Advertising
