gibson36 Posted May 23, 2007 Share Posted May 23, 2007 ok so I have replaced the fuel pump on my sc400 twice and both times the fuel pump sound fine at first but after driving for just a little bit it starts humming really loud I thought i may have gottin a bad one so i returned it and they gave me a new one but this one is doing the same thing? if you turn the car off it's fine again as soon as you start it but after 2-5 mins it starts that humming ? Im lost it has plenty of insulation ruber so i know it's not rubbing anything. PLEASE HELP !! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I double checked the wires and they are hooked up right but there is a small little black box thing that a wire runs to also in the assmb that looks like a restior maybe ?
