camlex Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 Hello, '97 ES300 with 250,000 and live in Texas, Steering wheel leather is getting bad. How to fix it? what is my other options? Thanks in advance.
SW03ES Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 Replace it. You can get it replaced at places like www.americanstitches.com or just pick up one from a salvage yard.
Ler Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 How? I've considered this same thing because I found some very nice ones from a newer Lexus on ebay... What do you have to worry about as far as a clean fit? Also, what about the air bag, horn, cruise control, ect.?
SW03ES Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 I personally would let the dealer do it. You would re-use all the airbag, cruise switches, etc. What you replace is just the rim. As long as you get one from the same generation, it'll fit.
camlex Posted May 28, 2007 Author Posted May 28, 2007 I love my Wheelskins cover. Thanks, Is it easy to put together? I have Beige colored interior and i didn't see any matching color on their website. Which color interior do you have? and which color did you buy? Thanks,
