Aftermarket Cd Player Help!

Hello

I want to put an aftermarket cd player in my 2000 rx and I went to the car audio places around my area and they say that there is no adapter for the rx300 and it will have to be hard wired does anybody know if there is an easier way or if there actually is an adapter please let me know i just want a cd player lol thanks everyone

Your RX came without a cd changer ? Would you consider a factory changer to keep the lexus integrity ?

I have the complete install with the new glovebox parts needed to install the changer. I also have photo install instructions and location of the hidden cd changer plug found behind the glovebox. Its all wired ready to plug in.

Well the dealer sold it to me without the cd changer and i had an aftermarket cd player from my old car and i just wanted to hook it up plus i have the whole system to hook up to the cd player! Thanks

The aftermarket will have to be fm modulated whereas the factory changer is plug in and play and turns on the amp to full fidelity when cd button on radio is pushed. The fm changer will not turn the amp on to full fidelity as the radio thinks fm is playing not a cd.

It's just me but I would go factory instead of installing the aftermarket cd player
