nichola1
92 SC 400.........in excellent condition........never a history of problems..........but a few days ago I heard from the stereo a loud flutter and noises.......I turned off the player and turned it on again.........no problems.............but soon after this event, (it may have nothing to do with my problem now) I no longer have break lights.......so I thought the obvious and started looking at the bulbs and fuses........I have visually inspected all the fuses and replaced the fuse that controls the stop lights.....I have removed the tail light lenses and visually inspected all the lights.....All lights work including the tail lights....but when I step on the break.......the second filament in the bulb does not light......I was NOT ABLE to inspect the light above the sub woofer in the rear window.......Any thoughts of what my problem could be? How do I get to the rear window break light out?

How do I get to the rear window break light out? The high mount stop light on the back of the window can be taken out by gently popping it up. Its only held down by little hooks, along with the wire to power the lights. Once you got it off, reach under and release the connector, its a clip holding it in place(leftside). after that it should be a bleeze....acouple of screws that cover the lightbulbs. Twist and out they come. Theres 2 bulbs. The bulb that fit, should be 922.
