F3DERAL
Recently I sent my cluster to Lextech to get my cluster needles replaced because they did not work. I put the cluster in a box with newspaper and bubble wrap and when I got the cluster back from Lextech one of the pieces that hold the screw to get fastened to the car broke off and it also broke off a piece that hold the traction control bulb in place. Before I mailed the cluster all of my backlights worked perfectly but when I got it back a lot of them were dim and my temperature guage and RPM guage droped down lower then they are supposed to be. FedEx threw the package or something because the corner of the box where the piece that broke off the cluster, is dented in and the piece was in the box. I just want to let people know to put more padding in the box if they ever send in a cluster or get insurance for it.
menappi
Geez, are you sure fedex messed up the lighting of the cluster? What is lextech's say on this? Anyways, yea I would be extra careful packaging things like that. You wouldn't believe the horror stories I've heard from friends who worked at UPS and FedEx, lets just say they get bored at night.
