Shelly'sLS400
I need to replace my fuel gage sender and was wondering if anybody has ever replaced one. I would imagine that it's not to difficult. I can get to the tank pretty easy. Any thoughts anyone????
larryp
Haven't replaced sending unit but did replace fuel pump which is a part of the same unit that goes in the tank. Fairly simple - just remove rear seat to get to access panel and remove to get to pump / sending unit. Just be real careful - lots of fuel vapors. Good idea to get tank near "E" if you can before you work on it.
Shelly'sLS400
I just looked in the trunk and pulled the carpet back from the fuel tank. You can access the sender from the trunk and makes it easier than pulling the rear seat.... Thanks
