Any changes expected for 2009 GX470? It looks like I will be staying in Italy for around another year so will be looking to buy in January/February of 2008....any changes expected for 2008/2009 GX470's (perhaps a lift gate tailgate option instead of the 2007 swing gate design)?

Redesign expected sometime from mid-late 08 or early 09 as an 09 model.

They still have not redesigned the LX470 LOL :D

probably just cosmetic taillights, grille , wheels etc

They still have not redesigned the LX470 LOL :D

they need to update a lot of cars.

for one, the SC430, the LX, the GX. THe RX is about to be redeisgned again...lexus has got to step it up
