cmshoot Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 I keep reading different plugs as being OE for my 2000 LS400. I have been told NGK Laser Iridium #IFR6T11 and NGK Iridium IX #BKR6EIX-11. Which is it? Or is it another? Over the years, with many different vehicles, I have come back full circle and just tend to use OE plugs in 'em. Thanks, y'all.
SKperformance Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Neither are OEM for an LS , iridium was never used back then.
LScott400 Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 What was OE for my car? Looks like a Nippondenso 90919-01210.

cmshoot Posted February 6, 2007 Author Posted February 6, 2007 You're correct. The owner's manual for my 2000 LS400 states iridium plugs. After running a pint of Seafoam in a tank of gas, and a 1/2 pint through the brake booster line, I changed the plugs with NGK Iridium IX's. Man, what a difference! I noticed a difference after the Seafoam treatment, but along with the new plugs, I can't believe how much smoother and more responsive she is.
