icu812
Hi again! I'm trying to find out if Lexus has a policy on putting certain number of miles on the car before they sell it. Does anyone know for sure if this is true or not? Maybe I can use it to get a lower price if it's not true... any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! SW03ES
Generally dealers have demos they use for test drives and don't let people test drive the stock. Anything less than 20 miles is typical.
lexus411
up to several thousand { i forget} is still considered a new car.

seohenning
Yes almost all dealerships have a demo for each model and usually they have a lot of "toys" for demonstration. You can usually find them discounted well below sticker after 2,000+ miles. Even if they have a few grand on them it doesn't mean they were beaten to death, sometimes the dealers drive them to and from work which can add up in mileage quickly. I saw one advertised on a local site the other week for $4,000 under MSRP and believe it had 3,200 miles on it.
