lean Posted August 20, 2003 Posted August 20, 2003 I recently had new struts all round. I noticed that Monroe has the same part numbers for the 97-01 Camry as it does for the 97-01 ES300. Is this because the struts are the same, or is it because Monroe reckons that a physical fit is all that's needed?
bbsal Posted August 21, 2003 Posted August 21, 2003 i wouldnt think so but its possiable.i know the ride is no were near the same between the camrey and the es so thats why i think there different but not to sure about 97 to 01 year.
SKperformance Posted August 21, 2003 Posted August 21, 2003 the mcv 20 chasiss is the same camry and es 300 ont the v6 platform 97-01 they fit perfectly no difference at all the struts are designed differently for each car for hanling dynamics though
SKperformance Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ if he says it fits the it will he is the MCV 20 platform champ
amanda Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 hi, there. mcv. skperformance thought you might know how to get to the foglights in 2000 es300. please advise. i think i understand how to remove arch liner, then it's all mystery thereafter. thanks.
MCV20 Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 actually there is a screw holding the back of the fog light housing... if u want to change out the blub u need to unscrew it >> take out the whole housing ...then the next step is pretty easy...>> change the blub... make sure u do it on a sunny/ bright day.. or u wont see anything inside.. my advise is do it on some slope and face the car upward u can see it more clearly.. the model of the light blub is: H3
amanda Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 thanks for the quick reply. actually, the lens is a little rough around the edge and i wanted to polish it. is the procedure different for taking out the whole housing? i am almost impressed with this posting. i actually sound like i know what i am talking about, which i don't.
