Brian Butters Posted January 18, 2007 Share Posted January 18, 2007 I am thinking of putting an AV unit into my 98 ES and was curious as to whether anyone has attempted/succeeded in doing so.... I would love to have a nice black AV unit and get some great New age features into the system and just wantedto know what hurdles to expect, and what i should look out for in general. Some of these new AV units have some good stuff. There are even car comps that can do some amazing stuff. Ive heard of some crazy car mods with some av units and really am interested. Bluetooth functionality...Nav..Built in Sirius Radio..even Hard drive compatability to load aplications/movies/music/ etc... on to the system..anyway. Hit me back with what problems i would have in a 98 ES install of a AV UNIT into the dash in place of the OEM headunit. What can be done? What Cant? What options do i have etc..
