MyES350 Posted January 8, 2007 Share Posted January 8, 2007 Hello, I noticed yesterday that a couple of the round plastic clips holding the engine covers on are either missing or completely loose on my new ES350. The car only has 120 miles on it so I am a bit surprised to see this happening. When I tried to replace one of the loose clips it seems as though it is the wrong size as it just wants to come right back out again. lexusk8 Posted January 8, 2007 Share Posted January 8, 2007 Since you have a new ES, you're under warranty for almost everything except for items classified as wear-and-tear. Tell the parts dept at the dealer that the clips never came with the car when you took delivery, and that you ask for new ones at no charge.
