bsoth Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 Does anyone know of a good Diagnostic /Error code reader? I just spent 500 at the Lexo dealer to replace the o2 sensor 1 Bank1. car is outta warranty and I am going to get into this... So if anyone knows where I can get this and a good shop manual...
SKperformance Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 most auto stores do code checking for free. eBay is the cheapest to get a simple one.
Kryptik Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 I've been wondering the same thing myself. Are there any specific readers you guys would recommend?
mburnickas Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 I have a Snapon micro scan. Worth every penny! http://buy1.snapon.com/products/diagnostic...C307A&qty=1
92Lex Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 For a generic code reader : http://www.obd2allinone.com/google.asp?yid=obd2+code+reader. If you're going to spend 700 on a scan-tool, you might as well buy a used Snap-On mt2500 scanner.
mortirius Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 A friend of mine works for lexus if you wan the real deal they use tis techstream u can buy it at https://techinfo.toyota.com/techInfoPortal/appmanager/t3/ti?_pageLabel=ti_tis_ts_reprog&_nfpb=true once you buy that you can open up your own lexus / toyota repair shop
Earl25 Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 If you just want to get the error code. There's one from Costco and they do work in all my car, (Lexus, Honda and Toyota). CodeKey OBD II code reader, it's under $40.
