forteatwo
The battery in my 2004 300 GS goes dead if it sits for 14 days or more. This has happened five times since I bought it a year ago. I took it into the dealer for repair and they stated that is normal, the battery is OK and there is no unusual current draw down. The battery gets drawn down because of the active components (computers )and so forth in the car. Can anyone verify this or comment on it. Apparently a service bulletin was issued in that regard. I suppose I could keep a battery charger on it when it sits for a while, seems like a pain in the butt though. I would like to read specifically what the service bulliten says. Lance I couldn't imagine going 14 days without driving my car. Like the dealer said, its probably not a parasitic drain, just normal drainage from components, alarms, sensors, computers....
