I came across some official option packages and prices from Lexus and thought I'd post them here. These two packages represent the most commonly shipped LS that will be available.

So basically the LS460 is loaded out at $71k, roughly the same as a current LS430. Meaning lease prices for a loaded LS460 will be in the $1100 range, and for an entry LS460L probably $1300. Not bad.

Yeah, but to me the 14k isn't worth the couple extra inches.

the problem is, that the long version is even longer than my van which can barely fit into my garage. lol...i hear from the reviews that the regular base doesnt actually give that much leg room. also the long wheel base version is still short than the S class...

i also like the options on the long wheel base such as air suspension, 4 zone climate control...ive always wanted 4 zones, god knows why, haha but power door closers would be sweet!!

Yeah, like i have said in the past this will work in the LSs favor.

Did I read that right that you have to pay 10k for the exec seat option? I wonder if you can get the RSE screen/dvd without it. Still it seems like there are more options and more levels of choice than before....when the LS launched it was almost all or nothing.

I was still a little surprised until I priced out a comparable S550 on the MB site, and as loaded as I could get it it came out to $101,575. If we assume the upgraded interior of the Lux package and the new paint process is comparable to the designo package on the Merc, the Merc climbs to 109,895. Also bear in mind that the S550 has nothing comparable to the Exec seating package....

At this rate I bet that the hybrid breaks 100k.....

I JUST GOT MY LS460L OVER HERE IN BRAZIL AND IT SEEMS TO BE THE MOST COMPLETE VERSION , BUT SINCE THEN IM HAVING TROUBLE FINDING THE ADVENCED GUIDANCE PARKING ASSIST.DOES ANYBODY KNOW HOW DO I FIND THIS DEVICE IN MY CAR?THE BRAZILIAN MANUAL WAS MODIFIED SO IM NOT SURE IF THE SYSTEM IS AVAILABLE IN THIS CAR.iTS GOT THE MARK LEVINSON PACKAGE , BLUETOOTH , PARK ASSIST AND SO ON BUT I STILL DON´T KNOW IF ITS GOT THE PI AND HOW TO WORK WITH IT. CAN YOU GIVE ME SOM HELP?I PAID u$$ 228,000,00 HERE.SO ITS GOT TO BE THE MOST COMPLETED VERSION

This is my Lexus which I bought last Sept; however the price is a little bit lower than yours. $75,000 included all documents fee; tax, DMV fee = Out the door :)

With the price you said: $71320 + 8.25% tax (for California State) + DMV registration fee + Documents fee should be larger than $75K; isn't it?

These were just speculative prices released in 2006 before the car was released. Now that the car has come out we obviously have better prices.
