eagle-7
Hi, My wife has a 00 RX300 and is thinking about getting a 330, 350 or even a 400. Are these later models "immune" from the transmission problems of the 300? Don't want to mistake of getting one without checking with the collective wisdom here. If not this SUV, we may end up getting the Infiniti FX. Thanks, eagle-
katzjamr
regarding the 400h it is the smoothest transmission you will ever own, it is CVT and a totally different design from anything else lexus has, except another hybrid. they say the 350 has addressed shifting issues however the one i drove with only 8 miles on it as a loaner, (i had it all day) was surpisingly notchy in my opinion however, once you drive the cvt you are spoiled for anything else. the 350 had ample power and is well refined in every other respect, and the car was not broken in at all so that shifting may improve.
