X Rider
Hey all, I searched around and still can't find how to adjust the idle on my 94 gs300. Does anyone here know?
Cloud
I would think there would be a adj. screw on the throttle body. I will check tommorow once I get my car back from being tinted.
SKperformance
i think it is built in to the throttle body and machined off after as most of the properties of the engine are ecu controlled including the idle
X Rider
hmm... doesn't sound like you have access to it unless you're a lexus dealer mechanic
Blk on Blk GS 300
I think you were wanting to idle up because of a ruff running condition you were having (in another thread). Have you attempted a tune up of any sort? I know that when I had my tune up it made my car just run smooth and get up and go....kinda like :snoooorrrtttt:
bluegs
There is probably no way to adjust the idle speed on this car. Typically the idle speed is controlled by the ECU based on sensor inputs. I'm not surprised you couldn't find an idle adjustment screw, I doubt there is one.
