My cd player stopped working in the middle of a song. Pushing any button results in "Error Code 3". It won't eject or load cds, nor play the cds in the player.

I can't get an appointment at the dealer until next week - any suggestions?

...dont force anything that wont come up...

what kind of CD was it? perhaps yoru own rewritable one? my 330 has never had problems until recently with a CD-RW where it starts skipping. Maybe the new cars have a protective block to preserve the cd player longer...check with the dealer

Certain CD players, Nakamichi in particular, do not work well with home burned CD's. The error code you received indicates that is the problem. That's exactly what happened to me. Unfortunately, the dealer will need to fix this problem. In my case, the vehicle was under warranty and the player was replaced. The original player was sent off and about 6 weeks later the CD's were sent to me in the mail. Hope this helps.

Don't touch it!! Wait it out and let the dealer work on it. The dealer wanted 800 bucks to install Sirius in my 350 so I could only imagine what it would cost if you broke something and it wasn't covered under warranty.

If you have to touch it, may I suggest a small 5 pound sledge! Just kidding..

Good luck!

I changed the battery in my 2004 RX330 and my CD player stopped working. Turned it off, held the power button down, but nothing seems to work. Is there a way to reset it? I appreciate the pointers. Thanks.

Did some maintenance on my 2004 RX330 which required me to remove the battery. Already did the window reset hack I learned from this group, but my CD Player and radio stopped working. I'm hoping there's a simple reset similar to the one to reset the windows. Anyone have any thoughts? Thank you.

That should not be needed after a battery swap. Did you check the fuses?
