Rob_W Posted May 23, 2006 Share Posted May 23, 2006 Last week we bought a new battery, car started great ran great. This morning I come out and the car wont start... The gearshift will not come out of park... when I jump it off, the car starts, but when I take the jump box off it idles down and dies... is this the battery or some other problem I need to check? SKperformance Posted May 23, 2006 Share Posted May 23, 2006 CHeck your alternator main fuse. You may have incorrectly hooked up the battery at some point and broke the main fuse.
