Hello Everyone,

I just bought a 1990 Lexus LS400 (113,000 Miles). It does not have a manual go with it. I don't know how and when I have to use the (Traction Off) button (above the front astray). After I start the engine; it is automatically ON

(Nothing lit on the dash meters). When I push the button; it have (TRAC OFF) lit on the dash meters. Please advise. Thank you very much in advance.

Yes, keep it on all the time. It is great on snow in New England. As long as you keep moving you will stay on the road. Never stop on the hill on snow! That was the only time when I switched my TRAC off trying to use all my power to burn snow to go up.

If you ever have a chassis dynamometer test run on the car (such as those required by some States' emmissions test programs) be sure that the system is off. Otherwise serious damage to the driveline could result. Otherwise it should be fine to leave it on all the time.
