tranls400 Posted August 5, 2003 Share Posted August 5, 2003 Hello Everyone, I just bought a 1990 Lexus LS400 (113,000 Miles). It does not have a manual go with it. I don't know how and when I have to use the (Traction Off) button (above the front astray). After I start the engine; it is automatically ON (Nothing lit on the dash meters). kisik Posted August 5, 2003 Share Posted August 5, 2003 Yes, keep it on all the time. It is great on snow in New England. As long as you keep moving you will stay on the road. Rich Sweitzer Posted August 6, 2003 Share Posted August 6, 2003 If you ever have a chassis dynamometer test run on the car (such as those required by some States' emmissions test programs) be sure that the system is off.
