3m Clear Coat And New Rx350 - Should I Do It And Where?

Hi! I am awaiting delivery on my RX350 and will need to decide if I should get the 3M clear protective coating. I understand that it should be applied by professionals but I don't know anyone in the NY area that does it other than the dealerships which are extremely expensive. Any suggestions and info will be appreciated.

If you mean the 3M Clear bra product that is applied to the front end, yes this is worth doing.

If you can't find anyone else that does it, its also worth it to let the dealer do it. This is definately a professionals only job. Look around though, check out detailing shops and places that do window tint. You'll find somewhere.

Definitely worth it. Friend of mine travels a lot and has a 2005 ls430, black (has put 25000 miles on it in 8 months!). No rock chips or anything on his front end!
