  1. Regular washing and waxing will make removal much easier.The key is to remove the spots as soon as possible. I would also avoid "scrubbing" the paintwork or else you're going to cause marring.I highly recommend Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover. There's a new product that I haven't tried but will interest you here: http://www.diamondite.com/bugblocker.htm
  2. I recommend Vinylex protectant. It's made by the same manufacturer that produces Lexol. It contains a UV sunscreen which is essential for dashboard applications IMO. You may find it here: http://www.lexol.com/vinindex.html
