My dealer just called me a couple days ago to ask about color choices, apparently the cars are going to start arriving at the end of this month or beginning of next month. et1957 Posted March 4, 2006 Share Posted March 4, 2006 wooow!!! i took my truck in for some work yesterday and they gave me a gs 300 for the loaner,,,,man!!! i fell in love with the performance and handling,like no other car i have ever driven that size,,,got thru chi-town traffic soo very swiftly,,,almost had regrets getting the rx400 instead of the gs300,,i can just imagine the performance the new gs will have,,might be what i need to change my mind and get one next year, Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Statman Posted March 4, 2006 Share Posted March 4, 2006 The slowest Porsche 997 coupe (911-2006) with Tip does the following: 3.6 l, 6 cylinders, Torque 273 ft lb. @ 4,250 rpm, 325 hp (SAE) @ 6,800 rpm 0-60 mph: 5.2 sec Top Track Speed: 173 mph A little bit of bending of reality perhaps as every other manual tranny runs under 5.0.
