I notice this morning, That Hood shock (Stand) are fail, it's not allow to keep hood up.

I called Lexus, they are asking $107 a peice.

Need help.

U can always go to ur Autozone, Strauss, Napa, Advanced Auto, etc... n look for the Mighty Lift. They r fine. I changed them in my g/f's 92 ES300 without any mods. Check that out... in case u don't feel like waiting for ebay.

I have the same problem with my '93 ES300. Can you provide some more info on the Mighty Lift like who makes them, price each, manufacturer's part number?

Contact the sellers on ebay and ask for your specific year and tehy should have them.

I ordered a set for my ES and my LS before and tehy are still working fine.
