riordamp Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 I have the notorious climate control bleeding. Does anyone know of a repair place in Virginia other than the dealer who can take the climate control out and send it somewhere to be fixed. I could swear that someone posted a Richmond Va address but I can't seem to put my hands on it.

Does anyone know of a repair place in Virginia other than the dealer who can take the climate control out and send it somewhere to be fixed. I could swear that someone posted a Richmond Va address but I can't seem to put my hands on it. Might be cheaper to get one on ebay from a reputable dealer. I see 4 on there right now. One description is "...in great working condition, but the liquid display is partially blacked out." How is that great condition?!?!?!? Someone actually placed a bid...

NakHack Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 No one has replacement LCD's for the climates. The bleeding cannot be fixed by the LED swap lextech does. You need another climate unit without bleeding, or you can get an LCD manufactured. Custom rates are: First 5 LCD's are $2,500, the next 100 are about $50 each.
