lexus411 Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 They did make the 1997 GS 300 for the early part of the year. The new design didnt debut until Oct. Same thing happened with the 2001 SC's. Few were produced because of the impending change. The sticker price on the 97 GS with the Nakamichi stereo was over $50k. Each dealership received only a few. There was even a ball joint recall
Neo Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Not sure what you mean. As far as model year is concerned, the 97 and the 94 are the same cars. Although sold in 97, the 2nd Gen GS started as a 98 model. Are you asking if a 2nd Gen front end will bolt onto a 1st gen front end? If so, I don't believe so.
