Ruea
I am about to buy a 2006 RX330 and have been browsing this and other forums to gather information and owner experiences and impressions. Some Lexus and Toyota owners have reported hesitation and lurching problems with their five-speed transmissions. As described this appears to be a safety issue I would like to avoid. Does anyone know if this situation/problem has been resolved?
chimchim
Supposedly there's an available reflash from the dealer which fixes the hesitation problem. The next time I bring mine to the dealer, I will have this done. Anyone know the reference number.

All it really is is a choke in the car where it feels like it cant get the gas. Anyways i had my dealer look at it and they upgraded something in the computer. Still does it occasionally, but not as much. You just gotta be gentle with the thing. ;)

I pick up my RX next Saturday, and was getting concerned about the reported problem and its severity.
