Does anyone know if the 2006 models have the hesitation and other transmission problems? I expect to take delivery of a 2006 RX330 next Saturday and am concerned about buying into this problem. My dealer says they haven't had a transmission complaint for about a year. When I asked this question on the RX Forum the responses seem to indicate that any remaining problems are minor. Does anyone know about the 2006 models?

Its not really a safety problem. All it really is is a choke in the car where it feels like it cant get the gas. Anyways i had my dealer look at it and they upgraded something in the computer. Still does it occasionally, but not as much. You just gotta be gentle with the thing. ;) ← Thanks for the replies. I am about to buy a 2006 RX330 and have been browsing this and other forums to gather information and owner experiences and impressions. Some Lexus and Toyota owners have reported hesitation and lurching problems with their five-speed transmissions. As described this appears to be a safety issue I would like to avoid. Does anyone know if this situation/problem has been resolved?
